A five-year-old boy was electrocuted in the village of Vyuzhny in the Sverdlovsk region. This was reported on July 29 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region.

"Law enforcement agencies have received a message about the death of a five—year-old boy on Lugovaya Street in the village of Vyuzhny, Volchansky municipal District," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is reported that a strong wind broke the wire of the power line (transmission line), which fell on a child riding a bicycle. A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence"). All the circumstances of the incident are currently being established.

On July 28, the Moscow press service reported that a two-year-old girl had fallen out of an apartment window on the fourth floor on Bekhtereva Street. The child was hospitalized.
