More than 700 accidents occurred on the roads of the Tula region in six months

731 traffic accidents were registered on the roads of the Tula region in the first half of 2025. The relevant data were announced at an expanded meeting of the board of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"In the first six months of 2025, 731 road accidents were registered on the region's roads, in which 70 people died (-1.4% compared to last year)," the department said in a Telegram channel message.

Another 935 people involved in road accidents received various injuries, TSN24 clarifies.

According to the traffic police, another accident happened this afternoon, on July 29, on the 202nd km of the federal highway M-4 "Don" in the Venevsky district. A moving Renault truck has a wheel depressurization.

The truck collided with a passing Kia Sportage and crashed into a barrier fence. As a result, the 38-year-old and 11-year-old passengers of the car were injured. Medical assistance was provided to them at the scene.
