Israeli actor Abutbul has died at the age of 60.

Israeli actor, director, producer and screenwriter Alon Abutbul has died at the age of 61. His body was found on one of the northern beaches of Israel. This was reported by The Times of Israel on July 29.

"Abutbul's body was found on Habonim Beach in northern Israel. Medics called to the scene were unable to resuscitate him," the publication says.

It is assumed that the actor could lose consciousness after he got out of the water.

Abutbul was born on May 28, 1965 in a suburb of Haifa. He made his big screen debut in 1980. Then the actor starred in the movie "Star of Dawn". Abutbul took part in such famous films as "Twin Peaks", "Rambo 3", "The Dark Knight Rises", "The Fall of London" and many others.
