A man died in a single road accident on the Tyumen–Khanty-Mansiysk highway.

A Kia SUV was involved in an accident on the federal highway in the Yarkovsky district of the Tyumen region. One person was killed and another was injured, according to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, July 29, on the 123rd km of the federal highway R-404 Tyumen – Khanty-Mansiysk. It was previously established that the 45-year-old Kia Mohave driver did not choose a safe speed on a wet road after rain.

The SUV crashed into the barrier separating the streams and overturned. The 44-year-old passenger of the car died at the scene of the accident. The driver was injured and received medical attention.

According to the <url> news agency, it is known that the deceased is a resident of the village of Kulakovo in the Tyumen region. People were returning home from Tobolsk.

On the night of July 29, on the M-4 Don highway in the Rostov region, a Mercedes-Benz truck crashed into a guardrail, overturned and ended up in the oncoming lane, where a Peugeot Boxer, Volkswagen Passat and Lada Vesta collided with it. As a result, four people were killed, including the tractor driver, and six more people were injured.
