Stavropol introduced a limit on the production of roe deer and badger

The Stavropol Territory authorities have approved a limit on the production of Siberian roe deer, spotted deer and badgers. The corresponding decree of the governor is published on the portal of legal information.

The restrictions were set at 37, 1, and 21 individuals, respectively. It will be valid from August 1, 2025 to August 1, 2026.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, there are 1,159 roe deer, 210 deer and 317 badgers in the region.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote about the smuggling of rare animals, which have long turned into status luxury items. The demand for them in the shadow market is only growing along with the price.
