The Dostoevskaya station on the Koltsevaya Metro Line is 25% ready. This was announced on Tuesday, July 29, by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

According to him, this is one of the most difficult projects due to the dense buildings in the center, a large number of utilities and groundwater, writes NSN. The work is being carried out manually and using small machinery, especially near the existing tunnels — workarounds are being laid along which trains will be temporarily launched, RT clarifies.

Construction was accelerated due to additional shafts: instead of the usual one or two, there will be seven of them, some of them will become ventilation after the station opens.

Dostoevskaya will become the 13th station of the Ring Line and will be located between Prospekt Mira and Novoslobodskaya, according to RIAMO. There is a transfer to the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line and two lobbies — underground and above ground, connected by a passage with travelators, the Moscow City News agency reports.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
