People with allergies can take an antihistamine after consulting with their doctor.

Single bites rarely cause serious consequences, but if you experience shortness of breath, swelling, nausea, weakness, or a sharp decrease in blood pressure, you should urgently call an ambulance — this may be a sign of anaphylaxis.

To avoid bites, the doctor advises not to make sudden movements near wasps, not to leave sweets outdoors and use repellents, writes RT.
