Rescuers evacuated a man from a high-altitude lake in Karachay-Cherkessia
Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations evacuated an injured man from the high-altitude lake Kyafar in Karachay-Cherkessia. This was reported on July 29 in the press service of the department.
"A man from a tour group injured his leg in the area of Lake Kyafar. <...> An Mi-8 helicopter of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations took off from Mineralnye Vody with medics on board," the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' Telegram channel says.
The man was evacuated from a height of 2.4 thousand m. He was taken to Cherkessk, 13 rescuers and two pieces of equipment participated in the operation.
Rescuers evacuated an injured tourist from the Borus Ridge in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory on June 14. The man fell from a height and was injured. He was evacuated by a group of Emergency Situations Ministry specialists on foot.
