UAZ and Sollers went on a corporate vacation

The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant and the Sollers company went on an annual planned corporate vacation, which began on July 28. This was reported in the press service of Sollers, TASS reports.

During the week, it is planned to carry out equipment maintenance at the production sites and implement measures within the framework of investment projects, the automaker said. He noted that the shipment of finished products will be carried out normally, and car production will resume on August 4.

At the same time, on July 28, AvtoVAZ went on a single corporate vacation. The Tolyatti auto giant will have a break until August 17th. The company's enterprises will also carry out repairs, maintenance and modernization of technological equipment and tooling.

Earlier, on July 24, it became known that the first batch of UAZ vehicles assembled by a large-scale method at a Cuban enterprise had been handed over to the customer. The keys to several off-road vehicles of the Patriot model were handed over to the state customer.

Prior to that, on July 22, AvtoVAZ announced that in early autumn the company would consider changing the schedule of its production sites from September 29 and switching to a four-day working week. The manufacturer cited the high key rate and stricter regulatory requirements for car loan borrowers as the reasons for the difficult market situation.
