Fighters of the Vostok group they told about the liberation of Malievka

Baltic guardsmen from the 336th separate Marine brigade of the Vostok group told how they liberated the village of Maliyivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

"We started moving in advance, reconnaissance was carried out, we moved through forest plantations, we walked more than 15 kilometers in a day. The opponent, of course, used all kinds of attack drones, FPV, markers, and homemade markers. We are already familiar with them, we have encountered them on Komar. We walked to the tank ditch, and we quickly ran across it: there was a two, a ladder was being put up, they were moving, the ladder was being thrown back, the second two was the only option," an instructor orderly with the call sign Historian told Izvestia correspondent Alexander Safiulin.

According to the military, the enemy was afraid to make fire contact and immediately ran away.

"We ran into the settlement, the main action was in the administration, a machine gunner was sitting there, butting heads to the last, but our guys turned out to be stronger," he concluded.

The platoon commander with the call sign Khapra added that when the Russian fighters began to enter the building from all sides, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) ran to hide in the basement and throw their weapons.

"Floor by floor was cleaned, the prisoners who surrendered were taken out, the flag was raised," he stressed.

The squad commander with the call sign Hasan shared that the civilians who remained in the settlement rejoiced at the military of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

"Grandma, grandpa, the elderly told me that they were threatened, we will kill you if you don't leave here, they resisted: we are not going anywhere, because all our children live in Russia, and our grandchildren live in Russia," the squad commander added.

Units of the Vostok group of forces liberated Malievka on July 26. At the same time, the Russian military liberated the village of Zelyony Guy in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). It was clarified that as a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 190 militants, an armored combat vehicle, eight vehicles and a field artillery piece.
