According to eyewitnesses, the wreckage of the helicopter is located on the Mulda River. Firefighters, police officers, and divers went to the scene.
The wreckage of the aircraft was discovered by rowers who were sailing along the river. It is assumed that the crash site is located near the A14 Dresden—Leipzig highway.
On July 2, the SONNA news agency reported the crash of a helicopter with eight people on board at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. After the crash, the aircraft caught fire, but the fire was quickly contained. There was no information about the victims.
