Russians Schleicher and Ternovoy won silver in synchronized diving at the World Cup

Russian athletes Ruslan Ternovoy and Nikita Schleicher won silver medals at the World Aquatics Championships in synchronized diving from a 10-meter tower. The competition is being held in Singapore on July 29.

The Russian duo scored 428.70 points. The victory in this discipline went to the representatives of China Zhu Zifeng and Cheng Zilong Cheng (they scored 429.63 points), Sport-Express notes.

The bronze medals will be taken away by representatives of the USA Carson Tyler and Joshua Hedberg (410.70 points).

On July 27, Russian swimmer Kirill Prigoda set a new national record in the 100 m breaststroke at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore. In the preliminary round, the athlete showed a time of 58.53 seconds, beating all competitors and taking first place. Russian athletes participate in the championship in Singapore under a neutral flag.
