Aeroflot operates flights according to the established schedule after a failure in the company's information system. This was announced on Tuesday, July 29, by the press service of the carrier.

"To date, 93% of flights from Moscow and back are planned according to the original schedule — 216 paired flights out of 233. Until 10:00, the company carried out targeted flight cancellations, then the program of Aeroflot's own flights stabilized," the company's Telegram channel wrote.

It is specified that on July 28, the airline completed about 80% of the planned daily program. The main adjustments affected flights from Moscow and back, while the regional part of the program was fully implemented.

Aeroflot noted that all flights are operated with safety priority, online check-in is available 24 hours before departure, and check-in at the airport is operating normally. It is also reported that the airline's website is functioning correctly, there are no failures in the ticket booking system.

The day before, Aeroflot canceled 54 paired flights, and later 12 more flights were canceled. The reason was the malfunction of the airline's information system. It is specified that tickets for cancelled flights are subject to refund or reissue for dates within 10 days. A criminal case has been opened into a hacker attack on the airline's information system.
