Two sappers were killed while clearing UAVs in the Salsky district of the Rostov region.

Two sappers were killed as a result of mine clearance by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Salsky district of the Rostov region. This was announced on July 29 by the head of the district, Vladimir Berezovsky.

"A tragic incident occurred — two sappers were killed while clearing mines of an enemy UAV in Novosalsk," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Berezovsky urged residents of the area to be careful and not approach the wreckage of drones in case they are found on the territory.

Earlier that day, a freight train parked at Salsk station caught fire as a result of falling drone debris after a repulsed attack on the territory of the Rostov region. In addition, the work of the contact network was disrupted. Traffic was temporarily closed, but it was subsequently restored.
