Four people were injured in the explosion of a gas cylinder in the Volgograd colony

A propane tank exploded on the territory of correctional colony No. 9 in the Vodstroy work settlement of the Volgograd region. This was announced on July 29 by a source of Izvestia.

The incident occurred in the early morning of Tuesday, July 29, during the work. The source said that four people were injured. The injured were taken to the hospital.

According to the Office of the Federal Penitentiary Service (UFSIN) in the Volgograd region, the pop of a gas cylinder occurred in a building materials storage room. The victims received the necessary medical care, and their condition is assessed as satisfactory.

The circumstances of the incident are being clarified and an inspection is underway.
