Gunners of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the outskirts of Chasova Yar

Artillery crews of the Ivanovo and Kostroma paratroopers destroyed a cluster of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the shelter of a stronghold in a wooded area on the outskirts of Chasova Yar. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on July 29.

On the outskirts of the city, in a forest plantation, Ukrainian militants set up a strongpoint with firing points and shelters, from where they fired, preventing our assault groups from advancing forward. During breaks, the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers took refuge in a dugout. His coordinates were transmitted to the artillery control center, and he and his personnel were destroyed with two accurate shots. According to objective control data, the stronghold was hit and destroyed by a 152 mm D-20 cannon.

Operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) constantly conduct aerial reconnaissance in the area of responsibility of the Ivanovo Airborne unit, identifying various targets: from enemy shelters to vehicles and various unmanned ground systems, including those delivering food, ammunition and medical supplies to the Kiev militants. During the special military operation, paratroopers from Ivanovo, Kostroma and Yaroslavl accounted for hundreds of enemy targets destroyed.

"The goal now was to open the enemy's dugout. They inflicted a fire defeat. We regularly move forward ourselves, which means that the enemy is moving away from us. We are currently working at maximum charges, as always. <...> The dynamics of the enemy's retreat is observed as targets are removed," said the commander of an artillery battery with the call sign Tor.

On July 28, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian military personnel carried out a group strike on military targets in Ukraine at night using Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.
