Mishustin noted the contribution of the Omsk region to achieving the technical sovereignty of the Russian Federation

Omsk Region enterprises make a significant contribution to the achievement of technological and industrial sovereignty of the Russian Federation. This was announced on July 28 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting with the governor of the region Vitaly Khotsenko.

"The task of achieving technological and industrial sovereignty, which is set by our president, is being actively solved by Omsk enterprises," he said.

Mishustin noted that the Omsk region is famous for industrial and scientific projects, as well as developing mechanical engineering and the space industry.

Khotsenko added that investment projects in the field of chemistry, manufacturing, logistics and agriculture are being implemented in the region.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on June 20 that the Russian government should prepare a report on the country's technological development every year. He stressed the need to assess the current level of technological sovereignty and breakthrough solutions of technological leadership.
