The Russian government has decided to close 20 checkpoints on the border with Ukraine starting from August 1. The corresponding decree was signed on July 28 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"Starting from August 1, 2025, the checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation established in accordance with the agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of Ukraine on checkpoints across the state border will be closed," the document says, quoted by TASS.
