Lipetsk residents were attacked by bats
Lipetsk residents twice last night, from July 27 to July 28, appealed to rescuers to protect them from the attack of bats that had entered their apartments.
According to GOROD48, calls to the rescue service were received from houses on Tereshkova and Zegel streets. The city Department of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations recommended installing mosquito nets on windows, turning on bright lights before going to bed and not leaving windows and balconies open at night.
In mid-June, it was reported that bats had woken up in Moscow. Experts from the Moscow Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection reminded that bats do not attack people, so you should not be afraid of them. The capital is home to 10 species of bats, among which the bicolor leather, brown ushan and forest bat are listed in the Red Book.
These animals live in attics, balconies, tree hollows and abandoned buildings. They navigate by echolocation, and hunt flying insects by adjusting their numbers.
