The number of deaths from hunger and food shortages in the Gaza Strip has increased to 147 people. This was announced on July 28 by the enclave's Ministry of Health.

"The total number of deaths from hunger and malnutrition has reached 147, including 88 children," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of victims since the escalation of the conflict with Israel in October 2023 exceeds 59.9 thousand, more than 145.2 thousand people were injured.
