In the Bogotolsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a man drowned while swimming in a river. This was announced by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on Monday, July 28.

This is the second tragic incident in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in a day. Earlier, a boat carrying two men capsized on Lake Beloe in the Sharypovsky municipal district. One of them managed to reach the shore, the other disappeared under the water. Rescuers are currently searching for the body of the deceased.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, two men also drowned on Lake Peschanka in Krasnoyarsk the day before. Rescuers have already retrieved their bodies from the water.

Currently, swimming is officially allowed in only five places in the region. These are Lake Zerkalnoye in Tatyshev Park, the lake of the recreation complex "Lake Park "Yemelyanovskoye" and the Krasnoyarsk reservoir in the Balakhtinsky district in the Kashtak tract. You can also swim on the beach on Tatyshev Island near the Oktyabrsky Bridge in the center of Krasnoyarsk and on the beach at the Krasnoyarsk reservoir next to the Biryusa TYPE tent camp.
