Liksutov spoke about the demand for regular river routes
More than 30 thousand trips were made by citizens on the third regular river route of Moscow "Novospassky — ZIL", which opened more than a month ago. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"On June 20, at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin launched the 3rd regular river route Novospassky - ZIL. Muscovites and guests of the capital have already made more than 30 thousand trips on it. This indicates that the new route is in demand among passengers. We continue to develop regular river electric transport in the capital," Maxim Liksutov said.
The Novospassky — ZIL route connected four districts of the city and provided access to the most innovative mode of transport for over 55 thousand people. The regular river route No. 3 with a length of more than 5 km includes 6 stops, including 4 new berths — Novospassky, Derbenevskaya Embankment, Torpedo, Simonovsky.
According to the Department of Transport of the capital, thanks to the launch of the route, passengers have the opportunity to make quick transfers and save travel time up to 30 minutes by choosing new options for traveling along the river. For example, it takes only 13 minutes to drive from Torpedo Pier to the Riviera shopping center. It has also become easier to combine a trip along the Moskva River and visiting interesting places along the way. The route passes through several historical and modern attractions.: Novospassky Monastery, Krutitsky farmstead, Ceramic and Tile Factory named after Vlasov, Danilovskaya manufactory, as well as the Zilart residential complex.
