Swimmer Prigozhda was disqualified in the World Cup finals in the 100 m breaststroke
Kirill Prigoda of Russia took fourth place in the final 100 m breaststroke at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, but was subsequently disqualified.
The winner was Chinese swimmer Qin Haiyang, who covered the distance in 58.23 seconds. Nicolo Martinengi from Italy finished second (58.58), while Denis Petrashov from Kyrgyzstan finished third (58.88). Prigoda scored the fourth result (59.01), but his time was cancelled due to a violation of the rules of the course.
Another Russian, Danil Semyaninov, finished the final heat with a score of 59.55 seconds and finished eighth.
