The Green Courtyard location will appear in the courtyard of the Moscow Sovremennik Theater

The Green Courtyard, a new location of the beloved Moscow Theater Boulevard Festival, will open in Moscow on August 2 in the courtyard of the Sovremennik Moscow Theater.

During the holidays, the theater does not close its doors to the audience — on the contrary, it invites you to the "Green Courtyard", which the Sovremennik parking lot will turn into for a month. Thanks to the Teatralny Boulevard, Sovremennik opens a new format: a space where the theatrical atmosphere will remain even in summer. The program includes free screenings of films, TV shows (including "Forever Alive" — they will open a playground, "Cherry Orchard", "Echelon") and archival recordings with the participation of Sovremennik artists, original films, as well as special meetings. The playbill contains about 80 films, cartoons and performances.

A special event is the screening of the cult TV series Liquidation starring Vladimir Mashkov, artistic director of Sovremennik. The 14-episode film marathon will take place on August 24 and will end with a meeting with Vladimir Mashkov, who played the charming police lieutenant Colonel David Gotsman.
