Preparations for a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump in China are not underway, as there has been no coordination on contacts. This was announced on July 28 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"There is no substantive preparation for this meeting, because there are no agreed contacts. The only thing is, yes, Putin, he himself said that he was preparing for such a visit," Peskov said at a briefing.
