- Sobyanin spoke about the support of the participants of his organization and their families
Moscow provides comprehensive assistance to participants of the special military operation (SVO) and their family members, said the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin. One of the key areas is assistance in professional development and employment, he noted.
"Each applicant is offered an individual career option, depending on their personal history, experience, and request," Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel.
The mayor of the capital said that fighters can take free training programs in various fields in industry, IT, transport and others. According to him, the most popular courses are for software-controlled machine operators, UAV operators, security specialists, data analysts and programmers.
Sobyanin noted that professional retraining is also in demand among the wives and children of ITS participants. Since 2023, almost 3 thousand people have passed it. More than 75% of graduates have already successfully found a job, the mayor emphasized.
In addition, in Moscow, soldiers undergoing treatment at the Voronovskoye Clinical Center are being helped to regain their driving skills. A training program for driving instructors from among amputees has also been launched in the capital, Sobyanin said.
Earlier, the mayor of Moscow spoke about the assistance provided by residents of the capital's technoparks. The companies have sent more than 60 tons of humanitarian medical supplies to the special military operation zone since 2022. All products are shipped free of charge — on the initiative of entrepreneurs, Sobyanin said.
