Russia is among the top 15 European countries in terms of gasoline availability
Russia ranked 15th among 32 European countries in terms of gasoline availability. This was reported on July 28 by RIA Novosti based on the results of its own research. In Russia, residents can purchase 1,360 liters of AI-95 gasoline on their average monthly salaries.
Luxembourg turned out to be the leader in the availability of gasoline, where residents can purchase more than 2.8 thousand liters of gasoline on their average salaries. Analysts noted that fuel prices in this country are low by European standards, but salaries are among the highest in Europe.
The United Kingdom is in second place, followed by Norway, Austria and Ireland, Sweden and the Netherlands.
In other countries, the amount of gasoline that can be purchased for an average salary does not exceed 2 thousand liters. Among them are Belgium, Germany and Finland, which complete the top ten of the rating. Denmark, France, Cyprus and Spain are also ahead of Russia in the ranking.
Russia is followed by Kazakhstan, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Poland. Next on the list are countries where the figure does not exceed 1,000 liters per average salary. Latvia, Romania and Moldova were on the last lines (less than 800 liters of gasoline).
Earlier, automotive expert Vadim Strelbitsky said that sports fuel, such as Ai-102 or Ai-110, would have virtually no noticeable effect if poured into a regular production car. This gasoline is designed for high-performance turbocharged or high-compression engines. For conventional road vehicles, the electronic engine control systems automatically adapt to the fuel, resulting in a power difference of 1-2% at best.
