The Nashi in the City rock festival was held in Moscow
The Nashi in the City rock festival was held last weekend at the Moskino Film Park, attracting about 10,000 spectators. Footage of the musical event on July 28 is published by Izvestia.
"For the first time, our people are not just in the city, but in the cinema city. The place where the main Russian blockbusters are born has become the capital of Russian rock and roll," said Kirill Solodkov, a correspondent for Izvestia.
Two dozen well-known bands performed on two stages over the course of two days. One of the most anticipated was the release of the Leningrad group: according to Solodkov, it fit into the atmosphere of the venue "like a fish in water."
Rock veterans did not stand aside either: the Crematorium group warmed up the audience in the 28-degree heat, performing hits by Metallica and Black Sabbath, among others.
"A matinee with memories of childhood happiness like this. We played both Black Sabbath and Metallica today," said Armen Grigoryan, the Crematorium's leader.
The festival combined punk, blues, jazz improvisations and world rock classics.
"It's just amazing. Tomorrow I'll go to the Keys, today I'll go to Tea, in general, the program is so super saturated, I like it," said Alina, a guest of the Our in the City festival.
On July 12, thousands of people from all over the country gathered in Udmurtia to enjoy music at the rock festival "Fly Away". Over the course of five days, about 100 performers will perform on the festival stages. Not only popular bands performed at the festival, but also rising stars, for whom this is a good springboard in their careers.
