On July 29, a press conference dedicated to the International Tiger Day is being held at the Izvestia Press center.

They talk about the state of the Amur tiger population, current programs and projects for its conservation, as well as the results of the Amur Tiger Center's work over the past 12 years.:

- Sergey Aramilev, General Director of the Amur Tiger Center;

- Karin Kneissl, Advisor to the Amur Tiger Center, former Austrian Foreign Minister, Head of the St. Petersburg State University "G.O.R.K.I" Center;

- Andrea Giannotti, PhD, Executive Director of the Institute of Eurasian Studies.
