Hyacinth-B gunners destroyed the AFU UAV control center in the Kherson region
Gunners of the 152-mm Hyacinth-B cannon of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed the control point of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with a direct hit The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and enemy manpower on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. This was announced on July 28 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Being clarified. that the aerial reconnaissance unit had identified the location of the AFU UAV control point. The coordinates of its location were promptly transferred to the calculation of the Hyacinth-B cannon. The servicemen, having received the command, destroyed the control point of the UAV with the subsequent detonation of ammunition.
"Hyacinth is a good weapon. <...> It shoots powerfully, hits targets well, breaks absolutely everything," said the commander of the gun with the call sign 07.
After completing the combat work, the gunners camouflaged the guns and promptly left the firing position.
Earlier, on July 27, a UAV unit of the Ivanovo Airborne unit destroyed an APU vehicle. It is specified that UAV operators use attack drones daily to inflict fire damage on the enemy. Their targets include vehicles, artillery pieces, mortars, ammunition depots and dugouts. In addition, firing points, surveillance and drone control points, as well as personnel of Ukrainian units are affected.
