Bild reported at least three deaths in a train derailment in Germany

Three people were killed and several injured when a train derailed in Baden-Wuerttemberg in southwestern Germany. This was reported on July 27 by the Bild newspaper with reference to the local police.

"The regional express derailed early on Sunday evening. Two wagons slid off the rails. At least three dead and several injured," the publication said.

According to the newspaper, rescuers were working at the scene.

A passenger train derailed in the Biberach area of southwestern Germany on July 27. It is noted that part of the train is lying on its side, the roof of one car is severely damaged. Several wagons have completely derailed and are lying on a wooded embankment between trees.

Earlier, on June 7, a freight train with 35 gasoline tanks derailed in Romania on the Bucharest–Craiova highway. Two fire brigades, special equipment, and a chemical protection vehicle were involved to eliminate the consequences.
