Cats from the SVO zone will become artists at the Kuklachev Theater
Three cats from the special military operation zone (SVO) became actors of the Theater of the Artist of Russia Yuri Kuklachev.
As Dmitry Zimenkin, a correspondent for Izvestia, noted on July 27, the cats were sent from the war zone first to a shelter in Donetsk, and then went to Moscow.
"Cats are placed in cages according to the principle of "who is friends with whom". Many of them came directly from the same place, from the same dugout or basement," explained Evgenia Mikhailova, head of the NGO "Koshkin Dom".
The report says that on the front line, cats are fighting rodents and supporting the spirit of the military.
Cats also accompany their fighters everywhere.
"Here is a cat in honor of HIS cat Z. <...> Loves people very much. He can't even live without people. <...> He's not just a family member, but really already our combat unit," said Anna Ilyasova, Deputy commander of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
In addition, Zimenkin told about the Miner's cat, which was found as a kitten five months ago.
"Now it's washed and big, but its eyes are sad, because there was a beloved cat in the neighboring unit, but it went on rotation," the correspondent noted.
Earlier, on July 19, soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces rescued a dog abandoned by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk border area. The animal was tied to a tree and severely exhausted during the time it was alone in the forest without water and food.
The fighter fattened, washed and released the found animal. The dog does not show aggression to anyone except cats, who also live with military personnel.
