A pro-Ukrainian rally was held in Italy after the cancellation of Gergiev's concert.
After the cancellation of a symphony concert in Italy by Russian conductor and Director General of the Bolshoi Theater Valery Gergiev, a pro-Ukrainian rally was held near the Royal Palace in Caserta. Footage of the July 27 event is published by Izvestia.
"Instead of Valery Gergiev's concert at the Royal Palace of Caserta, there is another concert — a pro—Ukrainian rally," correspondent Igor Baldin said.
It is noted that the participants of the rally with yellow and blue flags demand the abolition of Russian culture. The footage shows a group of people with flags standing outside the palace.
On July 20, a rally was held in Italy against Gergiev's concert. The protests were attended mainly by representatives of the Ukrainian and Georgian diasporas, wrapped in the flags of their states. It is known that individuals listed in Russia as extremists and terrorists are behind the protest organization. The next day, the management of the Royal Palace of Caserta in Italy canceled Gergiev's symphony concert.
