Reconstruction and restoration of the collapsed chamber are currently underway here," said Ivan Litomin, a correspondent for Izvestia.

According to Aleksan Mkrtchyan, Vice President of the Alliance of Travel Agencies of Russia, people need to be refunded in full for sold and unfinished cruises, so this will require at least 1 billion rubles.

Several companies are engaged in the reconstruction of the Gorodetsky hydroelectric complex. The airlock chamber, which collapsed, according to data from open sources, is being restored by MSU-1. The company's head office is in Moscow.

As experts emphasize, it takes a lot of money to restore all the hydroelectric power plants on the Volga. First of all, it is necessary to upgrade the equipment and increase the capacity — a special state program is needed.

According to the ministry, the necessary equipment is in place, including 17 dump trucks, a tugboat, a crane and excavators with a hydraulic hammer.
