Lavrov announced the strengthening of partnership between Russia and Kyrgyzstan
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has congratulated Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev on the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Eternal Friendship, Alliance and Partnership between the two countries. This was announced on July 27 on the official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
In a congratulatory telegram, Lavrov noted that since the signing of the declaration, Russian-Kyrgyz relations "have reached a qualitatively new level."
"It is of particular importance that the ties between our countries are based on a centuries—old common history, full of bright pages, among which, first of all, the Victory in the Great Patriotic War stands out," the publication noted.
He also expressed his personal gratitude to Kulubayev and his team for their great contribution to the collective work to strengthen Russian-Kyrgyz relations.
In addition, Lavrov noted the importance of foreign policy cooperation between the two countries in the Eurasian space aimed at ensuring peace, stability and sustainable development in the region.

On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Kyrgyz leader Sadyr Japarov on the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration on Eternal Friendship, Alliance and Partnership between the two countries. Putin expressed confidence that Moscow and Bishkek will continue to strengthen relations in a bilateral format and within the framework of such associations as the EurAsEC, the CSTO, the CIS and the SCO.
