- Residents of Tynda told about the situation with the aircraft after the crash of the AN-24
After the crash of the An-24 passenger plane of Angara Airlines, residents of the city of Tynda in the Amur region, who decided to change carriers, cannot do so due to the lack of alternative options. One of the passengers of the company told Izvestia about this on July 27.
"The planes have already reached their end of life, they are outdated. <...> Now only Angara is flying, only these planes. If we don't want to fly, then it turns out that we can only go to Neryungri or Blagoveshchensk," said Anton Sitnikov, a local resident.
He added that the planes look "sad" from the inside. Aircraft safety also raises questions.
"The plane is noisy, old, and the plane is like an airplane," said another passenger, Dmitry Zaika.
The AN-24 crashed in the Amur region, 15 km from the city of Tynda on July 24. Communication with the aircraft was lost during the flight on the Khabarovsk – Blagoveshchensk – Tynda route. Later, his burning fuselage was found on the ground. All passengers and crew members were killed.
The governor of the Amur Region, Vasily Orlov, noted that investigative actions are being carried out at the crash site. Later, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation reported the discovery of flight recorders at the crash site. On July 27, the specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations began to disassemble the fuselage of the aircraft.
In the Amur region, three days of mourning were declared in connection with the plane crash. On July 25, a memorial service for the victims of the plane crash was held in the Tynda church.
