- Passengers detained due to falling parts of UAV trains were provided with water and food
In the Volgograd region, passengers of delayed trains have been provided with water and food due to the fall of debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) onto railway tracks. This was announced on July 27 by the press service of the Volga Railway in the Telegram channel.
"It should be noted that passengers of trains delayed en route are provided with water, and over 4 hours with food," the publication says.
Trains No. 509 Kazan – Novorossiysk (more than 4 hours) and No. 532 Adler – Kirov (more than 2 hours) are delayed due to falling UAV debris. In addition, the commuter train No. 6121 from Kotelnikovo to Volgograd was cancelled due to the incident.
The delay of trains as a result of the UAV attack in the Volgograd region was reported earlier that day. As noted by the Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office, due to train delays, passenger rights monitoring has begun.
