In Japan, three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) invaded the territory of the Genkai nuclear power plant (NPP). This was reported on July 27 by the Kyodo news Agency with reference to the State Nuclear Energy Supervision Service.

"On Saturday, three drones entered the territory of the Genkai nuclear power complex in southwestern Japan, prompting authorities to check the facility for threats," the publication said.

As the agency noted, the drones did not bring any danger. Given the ban on UAV flight over the nuclear power plant, the incident was called extremely unusual.

Earlier, on July 25, a UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) dropped ammunition into a parking lot near the fire station of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). Seven civilian vehicles parked in the parking lot were damaged.
