The IDF announced the elimination of a high-ranking Hezbollah commander

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has eliminated one of the senior commanders of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement in the Bint Jebeil area of southern Lebanon. This was announced on Saturday, July 26, by the army press service.

"The IDF killed terrorist Ali Abd al-Qader Ismail, commander of the Hezbollah terrorist organization at the headquarters of the Bint Jabeil sector," the army's Telegram channel says.

The IDF added that Ismail was involved in attempts to restore Hezbollah's activity in the area.

In the meantime, the Lebanese authorities have responded to the US de-escalation proposal.

On June 28, the IDF announced the liquidation of one of the founders of the Palestinian Hamas movement, Haham Muhammad Issa al—Issa. The operation to eliminate Issa took place in the Sabra area of Gaza City.
