The French Foreign Ministry demanded an explanation from Spain over the landing of the Jewish choir.

The French Foreign Ministry has asked the Spanish airline Vueling for clarification on the background of the removal of the Jewish choir from the flight. This was announced on July 26 by the press service of the ministry on its website.

Earlier in the day, the newspaper El Español reported that about 50 teenagers from the Jewish choir were taken off a flight from Valencia to Paris. According to the newspaper, underage teenagers sang songs inside the aircraft, and also behaved indecently and ignored the remarks of the crew members.

It is noted that the country's Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrault, in a telephone conversation with the airline's CEO Caroline Martinoli, expressed concern after 50 minors disembarked from the flight.

"Clarifications were requested, in particular, in order to determine whether these compatriots were discriminated against on the basis of their religion," the statement said.

At the same time, the airline's CEO clarified that an internal investigation is currently underway to clarify the circumstances.
