The rubble in a multi-storey building in Saratov, which was formed as a result of a gas explosion in the building, has been dismantled by 60-70%. This was announced on July 26 by the Governor of the Saratov region Roman Busargin.
"Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the regional rescue service, and municipal services continue emergency rescue operations without interruption, rotating personnel. The rubble has been dismantled by 60-70%," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the governor, after that, the debris is transported to a special landfill. He clarified that at the moment, more than 1.8 thousand tons have been exported.
In addition, police and Rosgvardiya officers ensure the safety of property in undisturbed apartments.
The explosion in a multi-storey building in Saratov occurred on July 25. Searches for missing people are continuing at the site of the explosion. To date, seven victims have been found. A criminal case has been opened into the incident regarding the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements. A regional state of emergency has been declared in the Saratov Region. July 26 has been declared a day of mourning in connection with the incident.
