The Moscow Meshchansky court arrested a man in a case of treason, it follows on July 26 from a card on the official portal of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.

According to the published information, citizen R. Krysyaev was taken into custody. He is charged with committing a crime under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High treason").

The term of his detention is not specified.

The Office of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation for the Nizhny Novgorod region reported yesterday that two Russian citizens living in the Nizhny Novgorod and Tver regions were found guilty of treason in the interests of Ukraine. It is noted that a man from Tver received 17 years in prison, and a resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region who recruited him was sentenced to 14 years in a penal colony.
