Short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in the Moscow region. This was reported on July 26 in the Telegram channel of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"In the next hour, short—term rain and thunderstorms are expected in some places in the Moscow region, with a continuation until 21 o'clock on July 26," the report says.

Due to the worsening weather conditions, the agency advised motorists to slow down and increase the distance on the road. In addition, you should turn on the low beam or fog lights, and do not leave your vehicles under trees or billboards.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations advised people who will be on the street not to stand under trees, metal structures, in open spaces, near reservoirs. The agency also urged to stay away from shaky buildings.
