Zakharova stated the need to create an international day against Russophobia
It is necessary to create an international day against Russophobia. This was stated on July 26 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a speech at the Summer School of the Directorate of the World Youth Festival for government Representatives.
"Today, based on the experience of recent years, it is already necessary to talk and do so that the day against Russophobia, the international day against Russophobia, appears," she said.
Zakharova stressed that it was Russophobia and its propaganda unleashed by Western countries that caused many tragedies. According to her, "under the hellish banners of Russophobia," Ukraine is being supplied with weapons.
In June, German political scientist Ulrike Gero announced the growth of Russophobia in Europe, which can be explained from a sociological point of view. According to the expert, over the past 20-30 years, all research on Russia has been purposefully curtailed, and institutions, such as the Eastern European Institute in Cologne, which was engaged in research on Russia, have been closed.
