In Nefteyugansk, two local residents attacked police officers

In Nefteyugansk, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO), two local residents attacked police officers. This was announced on July 26 by the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

"According to the investigation, on the evening of July 25, 2025, near an apartment building in the 12th microdistrict of the city of Nefteyugansk, suspects born in 2007 and 2008 used violence against two patrol officers who were in the performance of their official duties," the Telegram channel said.

According to the agency, police officers and Rosgvardiya officers who arrived at the scene stopped the criminal acts. It is clarified that the suspects have been detained, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being resolved.

A criminal case was opened against them on the grounds of a crime under Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Use of violence against government officials").

On July 4, a man attacked a traffic police officer in Nalchik. The suspect ran up to the policeman and stabbed him with a series of knife blows, as a result of which the victim fell into a road pit where repair work was carried out. The attacker was eliminated. A criminal case has been opened.
