More than 1,7 tons of construction debris have already been removed from the explosion site in a multi-storey building on Blinova Street in Saratov. This was announced on Saturday, July 26, by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

"1,740 tons of construction debris have already been removed. Dog training teams continue to examine the rubble," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

It is specified that 406 specialists and 118 pieces of equipment, including engineering and construction, are working at the scene.

The explosion in a multi-storey building in Saratov occurred on July 25. A criminal case has been opened into the incident, and a regional state of emergency has been declared in the Saratov Region. July 26 has been declared a day of mourning in the region. Searches for missing people are continuing at the site of the explosion.
