Soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation unfurled the Russian flag after the liberation of the village of Zelyony Guy in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The relevant footage was shown by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Saturday, July 26.

"Artillery crews and operators of attack UAVs provided active fire support to the attack aircraft. During the battle, the Ukrainian formations suffered losses and were forced to retreat," the report said.

According to the agency, Zelyony Guy was turned into a major stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on this sector of the front and covered the approaches to the administrative border with the Dnipropetrovsk region.
