One person was killed and three injured in an accident near Volgograd.

As a result of an accident on the 125th km of the Volgograd -Kotelnikovo –Salsk highway, one person was killed. Three others, including a child, were injured. This was announced on July 26 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Volgograd region.

"Lada Granta cars under the control of a driver from the Chelyabinsk region and a Skoda Karoq under the control of a driver from the Saratov region collided," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that the Lada driver died on the spot from his injuries. The people who were in the Skoda, including a two-year-old child, were hospitalized. According to the Interior Ministry, traffic police officers are working at the scene, as well as an investigative task force.
