"The whale suddenly emerged from the water and hit the boat," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, as a result of the incident, all passengers fell into the water. It is specified that no one was injured.

The tourists were rescued by local fishermen, who approached the scene of the incident to extract the boat's passengers from the water and bring them to shore, Ecuavisa writes.
