The Moscow court seized the property of the son of the former deputy governor of the Bryansk region.

The Moscow city court has imposed a security seizure on the property of the son of the ex-deputy governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Petrochenko, who is accused of taking a particularly large bribe. This was reported in the case file on July 26.

"To seize the property of Petrochenko A. A. in the framework of a criminal case initiated under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a particularly large bribe")," TASS quoted part of the case.

Earlier, on November 23, 2024, as part of the bribery case, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested the property of the former deputy governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Petrochenko.

The inspection of the former deputy governor was initiated by the acting head of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz. It became known on September 19 that, at his request, the regional directorate of the FSB of the Russian Federation was conducting an inspection. In October, Petrochenko was arrested until mid-December.
